Nice to meet you, I'm Flonne Pocket! I I'm a lifelong doodler who started making pixel art in early 2024. You can thank my friends— all artists themselves— who encourage my creativity and light up my life i
After a prolonged artblock, I discovered that pixels are the ultimate cure!!! Now, instead of getting frustrated, drawing has a 90% of making me feel happy, excited, and proud H
Though I've been making websites since 2019, this is my first ever pixel site. I usually design with fancy viewport units and other modern principles b It's been interesting getting back to basics.
With time, I hope to properly fit into the ~pixel genre~ and create a corner of the Internet that everyone loves to visit!
Frequently Asked Questions
What tools do you use?
I use Clip Studio Paint because it's most familiar to me. These pixel brushes by Zer0coil streamline the process a bit! But don't be like me— PLEASE use a real pixel art program!!!! I recommend Aesprite on desktop and Pixaki on mobile.
The best thing about pixel art is that you don't need a drawing tablet. I make everything with my mouse! d Saves me the thirty extra seconds of effort I need to drag my Cintiq forward, heh.
Can I use your art?
Yes, take whatever you want! I'm happy you enjoy my work enough to repost it Q Just please don't recolour it, claim that you drew it, or try to make money off of it. I'd appreciate a link back, too.
Why is everything so BIG?
I know that pixel sites are supposed to be small. It mimics the tiny canvas-- and the tiny screens of a bygone era. But my eyes are bad! o That's why my designs are always scaled up.
Thankfully, you can easily zoom out for a more traditional experience. I put the original sizes of my pixels beside the larger version, too.
